The view of the Potomac is breathtaking, the vibe was electric with great music, and the 6 oz filet mignon topped with a crab cake was unforgettable. The honey-glazed carrots were the perfect touch. An absolute sensational place with superb ambience . I brought mom here for the Mother’s Day brunch. Let me just tell you it was just delectable. And customer service is top flight. The service provided by Raymond is second to none and should definitely be the observed first hand. Just a wonderful experience all around
We were recommended to eat Ada’s while visiting. It has now been 2 weeks since we ate there and we are still talking about the food and our server, the exceptional Erlinda! I truly truly wish I lived in the area so I could become a regular because the service received from Erlinda (great recommendations, attentive, funny), combined with the delicious food, made our trip. Best food, best experience, best vibes. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely come back. And don’t worry Erlinda, I will make sure to request you.
Been back multiple times to Ada’s! It’s always delicious food and the service is great. Make a reservation so you don’t have to wait. Highly recommend the crab cakes as they don’t use filler. Our server split the crab cakes for us on different plates without us asking. So kind of him and that’s another reason why the service is always amazing. I’ve liked every dish I’ve had. Was too full for dessert this time but I’ll be back!
First of all the location of this place is beautiful as it looks over the Potomac river. Our waiter was friendly and we would definitely return for brunch again. Everyone we were with raved about their food. Our friend said the hanger steak was amazing. My husband and another friend got the special for the day which was lump crab meat on top of an egg and it was really good. I got the chicken biscuit with pimento cheese and it was tasty but a lot. Our kids ordered pancakes and they were really good too. Overall we had a great experience.
I have wanting to go here for some time but was never able to get here. I am finally glad I made it here! The service started out a little slow but once we ordered everything improved. The food came out perfect and was timed well. No rush atmosphere and the portions and food were excellent. The Oysters and prawns were perfect. The salad was excellent! The mussels were abundant and a great value. The side sweet potato reminded me of how my mom used to prepare them. We didn’t have room for dessert but I am sure it’s great also. I highly recommend this place. The coal and wood fired grills make it worth the extra effort to visit. Parking can be a little tough and adds to the cost. But it’s Old Town! Park there at your own risk! I will say that this place is my new favorite in Alexandria. Especially if you like a nice view.
Crab cake starter, lots of lump with very little filler - excellent! Wife enjoyed her mocktail. She got the 6oz filet and for first time ever she said best she’d ever had and ate the entire thing (high praise). I had the cowboy ribeye and was blown away at our tender and delicious it was. We shared the asparagus and sweet potatoes sides. Everything was prepared beautifully. The highlight was our server Patrick, he was patient with my wife’s dairy and gluten allergies and made sure everything was as it should be. He was warm and kind and was a great help with suggestions.
This ranks as one of the most fabulous dinners we've ever had. All the flavors of every part of each dish were crafted creatively and executed excellently. We could see into the kitchen from our table and it was fun watching the chefs cook with fire! The wait staff were incredible, attentive but not hovering, bringing new silverware and removing the crumbs from our table between courses. The vibe of the restaurant was super fun. Not pictured are the black bread with charred orange zest in the butter, which blew our minds, and a very fun smoked Old Fashioned!
